Refund Policy

We understand that plans sometimes change. This policy is designed to be clear and fair — so you always know exactly where you stand. Please read this carefully before making any payments or booking decisions.

Planning Fees

Planning fees charged by Wander World Destinations for advisory, research, and coordination services are non-refundable once planning work has commenced. This includes initial itinerary research, supplier outreach, vendor coordination, and consultation time.

Planning fees compensate for the professional expertise and time invested on your behalf — they are not contingent on whether a trip ultimately takes place.

If a client cancels before any planning work has begun (prior to the first strategy session or itinerary research), a full refund of the planning fee may be issued at the sole discretion of Wander World Destinations.

Group Retreat Cancellations

Group retreats — including Bali Bloom and other She Wanders Worldwide signature experiences — have defined cancellation timelines due to the non-refundable commitments made with destination partners on your behalf.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to hello@wanderworlddestinations.com. The cancellation date is the date WWD receives written notice.

Individual Trip Cancellations

For individually planned trips (destination weddings, honeymoons, custom itineraries), cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the policies of each supplier involved — airline, hotel, cruise line, etc.

WWD will advocate on your behalf with suppliers wherever possible. However, we cannot guarantee refunds from third-party providers, as their policies are outside our control.

Note: Many hotel, airline, and tour operator deposits are non-refundable regardless of when you cancel. Travel protection insurance is the most reliable way to protect your investment in these situations.

Changes to Bookings

Date changes, name corrections, destination modifications, or other itinerary changes may incur fees from travel suppliers. WWD will communicate any applicable fees to you before changes are processed.

Change fees charged by WWD for significant itinerary rework (after an itinerary has been fully built and confirmed) will be outlined in your client agreement.

Cancellations Due to Travel Advisories or Force Majeure

In the event a trip must be cancelled or interrupted due to:

WWD will work with affected clients to pursue credits, rebooking options, or refunds from suppliers wherever possible. However, WWD planning fees remain non-refundable in these circumstances. This is precisely why comprehensive travel protection is recommended for every trip.

Protect Your Investment

We recommend purchasing comprehensive travel protection at the time of your first trip payment. Coverage can include trip cancellation, interruption, emergency medical, evacuation, and more.

We work with Faye, Global Rescue, and World Nomads. Ask us for a recommendation during your planning consultation.

How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund or cancellation request, please contact us in writing:

We will acknowledge your request within two business days and advise you on applicable refund eligibility based on this policy and any supplier-specific terms.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 10–14 business days to the original payment method.

Changes to This Policy

Wander World Destinations reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be reflected by a revised effective date. The policy in effect at the time of your booking will govern your specific reservation.
