Terms & Conditions
Clear expectations make for better journeys.
Effective Date: August 26, 2026
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services or website. By engaging Wander World Destinations as your travel advisor or by using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Our Services
Wander World Destinations ("WWD," "we," "us," or "our") is a luxury travel advisory based in Fort Worth, Texas. We provide custom travel planning, destination weddings, honeymoons and romance travel, private group travel, hosted trips and retreats, and accessible and inclusive travel planning.
Our services are available to clients who schedule a consultation and enter into a planning agreement with us. Use of our website does not constitute a client relationship.
Advisory Role & Limitation of Liability
Wander World Destinations acts as a travel advisor and independent contractor. We are not a travel supplier, airline, hotel, cruise line, tour operator, or any other travel service provider. We facilitate bookings and provide planning guidance on your behalf.
WWD remains responsible for performing the planning services it has contracted to provide. WWD does not control, and does not guarantee, the performance of independent travel suppliers — including airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, transportation companies, and local guides — or events outside our reasonable control. Once a booking is made and confirmed with a supplier, that supplier's own terms and conditions govern the service.
When a disruption occurs, WWD may assist within the scope of your planning services. Refunds, credits, rebooking, and other remedies remain subject to the applicable supplier and trip terms and cannot be guaranteed by WWD. Events outside WWD's reasonable control do not automatically entitle a client to a refund of planning fees already earned or of payments made to suppliers.
WWD is not responsible for:
- Cancellations, delays, or changes made by airlines, hotels, or other suppliers.
- Natural disasters, pandemics, acts of government, or other events outside our reasonable control.
- Personal injury, loss of property, or illness during travel.
- Changes in destination safety conditions after trip confirmation.
Planning Fees & Payment
Wander World Destinations charges planning fees for our advisory and coordination services. These fees are disclosed prior to engagement and outlined in your client agreement, and they are separate from supplier costs such as hotels, flights, and tours.
Before substantive planning begins, WWD may issue a refund of the planning fee at its discretion. Once substantive planning begins, the planning fee is non-refundable. Substantive planning may include research, itinerary development, supplier outreach, proposal preparation, reservation coordination, and similar planning work actually performed for the client. Receiving an inquiry or opening a client record does not by itself constitute substantive planning.
Reasonable revisions within the planning scope originally agreed with you are included in your planning fee. Material changes or substantial replanning may require an additional planning fee — for example, a major change of destination, dates, trip duration, traveler composition, trip type, or scope; substantial redevelopment after a proposal or itinerary has already been created; or repeated revisions beyond the agreed scope. WWD will disclose and quote any additional planning fee before performing that additional billable work.
Supplier change fees, penalties, fare differences, and rate differences are separate from WWD planning fees. Payment schedules, deposit amounts, and final payment deadlines are specified in your individual client agreement or trip booking confirmation.
Group Booking Payment Deadlines
Payment deadlines for group and hosted bookings are firm and are often set by supplier requirements. There is no universal grace period. WWD may make reasonable efforts to contact a traveler about a missed payment, but doing so does not extend the deadline.
Nonpayment by an applicable deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation, loss of reserved space, penalties, or forfeiture of amounts already paid, according to the applicable supplier and trip terms. Where the deadline and its consequences were disclosed, WWD may cancel participation for nonpayment.
Individual hosted experiences may establish their own specific payment terms in their trip agreements, and those terms govern that reservation. Payment plan arrangements must be agreed in writing before the applicable payment deadline.
Booking & Supplier Responsibility
All travel components — including but not limited to flights, accommodations, tours, transfers, and excursions — are provided by third-party suppliers. By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge and accept the terms, conditions, and policies of each respective supplier.
We will provide you with supplier confirmation details upon booking. It is your responsibility to review these confirmations and notify us of any discrepancies promptly.
Travel Protection
We strongly recommend that all clients consider comprehensive travel protection prior to travel. Travel protection is purchased separately, and the terms of the policy or membership you select control what is and is not covered.
Among the resources we share with clients, Faye may be referenced in connection with travel insurance, and Global Rescue may be referenced as a separate travel and emergency assistance membership resource. These are different types of products and are not interchangeable. Any purchase is made directly with that provider and is governed by that provider's own terms.
Declining travel protection is done at your own risk, and WWD is not responsible for losses that could have been covered by an appropriate policy.
We also recommend enrollment in the U.S. State Department's Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) at step.state.gov.
Cancellations & Changes
Cancellation and change outcomes depend on which category the money falls into. Specific terms are communicated in your booking confirmation and client agreement. Please review our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details.
In general:
- WWD planning and service fees follow the planning-fee policy described in Section 03.
- Payments made to travel suppliers follow the applicable supplier's terms, which may be non-refundable in whole or in part.
- Hosted experiences, retreats, and sailings follow the cancellation terms disclosed for that particular experience.
- Name changes, date changes, and itinerary modifications may result in supplier fees, penalties, or fare and rate differences.
No-Shows: A traveler who does not appear for a scheduled departure without prior written notice to Wander World Destinations is considered a no-show. A no-show does not create a guaranteed refund or credit from WWD. Amounts already paid remain subject to the applicable WWD, supplier, and trip-specific terms. Travel protection is strongly recommended for unforeseen circumstances that may prevent travel.
WWD may assist with eligible supplier cancellation or refund requests, but cannot guarantee whether a supplier will approve a request or the amount, form, or timing of any refund or credit. WWD does not charge a refund-processing fee.
Travel Advisories & Safety
We monitor destination safety and travel advisories as part of our "Safe Travel IS Luxury Travel™" commitment. However, destination conditions can change rapidly. It is your responsibility to stay informed about conditions in your destination country before and during travel.
We recommend consulting:
- The U.S. Department of State at travel.state.gov.
- The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for health advisories.
- Your destination country's official entry requirements.
WWD is not liable for circumstances arising from a client's choice to travel to a destination under a government-issued travel advisory or warning.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this site without our prior written permission.
Photography & Video
Photography and video may take place during Wander World Destinations hosted experiences, and travelers may incidentally appear in group or event imagery.
WWD will provide a way for travelers to communicate their preferences regarding WWD's intentional promotional use of their identifiable image, and we will make reasonable efforts to honor those preferences in promotional content WWD controls. We cannot guarantee exclusion from incidental imagery, or from content created or controlled by suppliers, other travelers, or unrelated third parties.
Intentional promotional use of the identifiable image of a minor requires authorization from a parent or legal guardian.
Client Conduct & Traveler Removal
Wander World Destinations may decline or discontinue services for a client whose conduct is abusive, threatening, harassing, or otherwise inconsistent with the professional nature of our business.
For hosted and group experiences, participants are expected to follow the code of conduct and any supplier requirements disclosed for that trip. WWD may remove a traveler from a hosted or group experience for serious misconduct, safety concerns, illegal activity, substantial or repeated disruption of the experience, failure to follow reasonable trip or supplier requirements, or where removal is directed by a supplier.
Where circumstances reasonably allow, WWD may first give the traveler an opportunity to correct the conduct. WWD may act immediately where reasonably necessary because of safety, serious misconduct, illegal conduct, or supplier-directed action.
Removal does not by itself create a right to a refund. Whether any amount is recoverable is determined by the applicable WWD planning-fee terms, the applicable supplier terms, and the cancellation terms disclosed for that particular experience.
Roommate Matching & Cabin Sharing
Where Wander World Destinations offers roommate matching or roommate assignment for a hosted or group experience, it is offered as a convenience. WWD does not guarantee compatibility between travelers, and we cannot guarantee alternate accommodations or a replacement roommate if an arrangement does not work out.
Ordinary compatibility differences are handled between the travelers involved. Concerns involving safety, serious misconduct, illegal activity, or harassment should be raised with WWD or the applicable supplier promptly, and are addressed under Section 12 rather than as a compatibility matter.
If a roommate cancels, withdraws, changes rooms, or occupancy otherwise changes, any resulting single supplement, supplier charge, rate difference, or other occupancy cost remains subject to the applicable trip and supplier terms and may become the responsibility of the affected traveler or travelers. Where a change requires substantial replanning by WWD, the additional planning fee approach described in Section 03 may apply.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are intended to be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. The parties intend that any dispute arising under these terms be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Tarrant County, Texas, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be reflected by a revised effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services or website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
