You Have Questions.I Have Very Specific Answers.
From planning fees and group travel to accessibility and what happens when plans change, here's what you should know before we start planning together.

Travel planning comes with questions. Some are logistical. Some are financial. And some are really just another way of asking, “Can I trust you with this trip?”
Fair question. Let's get into it.
Working Together
What it actually looks like to plan a trip with an advisor — and with me.
You're not paying me to book a hotel. You're paying me to think about your trip.
You absolutely can. Plenty of people plan wonderful trips on their own, and there's nothing wrong with that.
What I offer is expertise and time back. I research, compare, and curate options based on how you actually travel, coordinate the moving parts, and keep the details from becoming your second job. If you enjoy the planning, plan away. If you'd rather hand it to someone who does this professionally, that's where I come in.
As involved as you want to be. Some clients want to weigh in on every restaurant and excursion — I love those conversations. Others want to share their vision, their priorities, and their budget, then step back and let me handle the rest. Both work. We'll figure out your preference early and plan accordingly.
Wander World Destinations specializes in:
At a high level: we start with a conversation about your vision, priorities, travel style, and needs. From there I research, design, and coordinate according to the planning service you've selected. Details are finalized, you receive what you need to feel prepared, and then the planning is behind you — you just go.
The full breakdown lives on the Planning Services page.
Professional planning — not a booking button. The fee covers destination and supplier research, itinerary design, tailored recommendations, coordination of the details, and the experience to know which options are actually worth your time and money. It also covers the hours you'd otherwise spend comparing tabs at midnight.
Current service tiers and starting prices are listed on the Planning Services page.
Booking & the Fine Print
The practical questions — answered plainly, without pretending I control the suppliers.
Payment schedules may be available depending on the trip, the supplier, or the hosted experience — it isn't automatic, and it varies. Exact deposit amounts and payment requirements are provided to you in writing before anything is booked.
Life happens. Changes and cancellations are subject to the applicable Wander World Destinations terms, along with the rules, penalties, and restrictions of each supplier involved — airlines, hotels, cruise lines, and tour operators each set their own. Those specifics are shared with you in writing before booking.
Generally, yes — and some trips or suppliers require it. Travel protection can help you prepare for certain covered unexpected circumstances, but terms, eligibility, exclusions, and coverage vary widely by plan and by traveler. Please read the actual policy or membership terms before you purchase, and ask questions about anything that isn't clear.
Faye and Global Rescue are both featured on the Wander Approved resources page if you'd like a starting point.
Groups, Celebrations & Different Travel Needs
Trips with more people, bigger moments, or specific needs at the center.
Accessibility isn't a category of travel. It's a way of planning it.
Yes. There are two very different things happening under the word “group.”
Private group travel is your people — girlfriends, family, a milestone birthday, a reunion — planned around your dates and your vision. Hosted experiences are trips Wander World creates and you join.
Both are explained on the Group Trips & Retreats page.
Yes — and a lot of people prefer it. Hosted Wander World experiences are already designed, so you don't have to wrangle a group chat or build an itinerary. You come as you are, on your own or with someone, and travel alongside other travelers. Current hosted trips and their details are on the Upcoming Trips page.
Yes to both. Destination weddings and honeymoons and romance travel each have their own page with what's involved.
Then that's where the planning starts. Accessibility begins with understanding the individual traveler — what they need, what they'd prefer, and what makes the difference between a hard day and a good one. From there I research appropriate options, communicate requests clearly to suppliers, and plan around what we learn.
Because hotels, airlines, transport providers, and destinations are third parties, accommodations can't be guaranteed, and not every request can be fulfilled everywhere. What I can commit to is asking the right questions and being honest about the answers. More on the Accessible & Inclusive Travel page.

Before & During Your Trip
Preparation, safety, and what support actually looks like when you're away.
Safe Travel IS Luxury Travel.
Safe Travel IS Luxury Travel — it isn't a footnote here. Destination research, preparation, traveler education, and pointing you toward the right resources are built into the planning process rather than added at the end. Feeling informed and prepared is part of what makes a trip feel effortless.
The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program is a free service from the U.S. Department of State for U.S. citizens and nationals traveling or living abroad. Enrolling registers your trip with the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate so you receive safety and security updates for your destination, and so the embassy can reach you in an emergency. You can enroll at step.state.gov (opens in a new tab).
Travel is wonderful and travel is unpredictable — sometimes both in the same afternoon. If something goes sideways, I can provide support within the scope of the planning service you've selected: helping you understand your options, identifying the right supplier, insurance, emergency, or destination resources, and advocating where it's appropriate.
What I won't do is pretend I control airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, governments, or the weather. I'm not an emergency-response service, and outcomes depend on the third parties involved. Knowing that in advance — and being prepared for it — is exactly why preparation matters.
The Best Answer Is aReal Conversation.
If you didn't find what you were looking for, that's okay. Some trips—and some questions—need a little more context.
Let's wander. Wisely.
